awesome level and replaces 48" level Jul 19, 2010
Im a framer and these are the best levels you can get, I also own the 7-12 foot plate level which is also a great level. the grip is comfortable and the vials are very clear and easy to see. the 59 inch level replaces the 48 inch level and is the perfect size along with the 24 inch level. highly recommened to anyone that wants quality,

These levels are worth the money. They will give you years of true readings if you take care of them. Easy to read and hold. With the removable end caps, makes marking corners perfect.

I think this is the best levels money can buy. I like the grip built in the level to hold it against a wall. If you don't lose it, you'll use it forever. Buy them.

The price was right...steep, but right...and oh so worth it. Thankfully, my old MD levels were used only for my own projects, not for clients!

I have bought Stabilia levels exclusively for the last 20 yrs. I have most of the sizes from 78" down. I am a tile contractor, and I believe that the 59" was designed for working on tiled bathtub enclosures. Bath tub flanges or lips are notorious for curving up in the corners a 48" level won't give you a true read but the 59 is perfect. Thanks for that idea Stabilia! Your levels are tops! Joe
