Good blade for RAS May 07, 2010
This is the second French made Hitachi blade I have bought from Amazon. It is a negative hook blade that works well on a RAS and with 72 teeth makes very smooth crosscuts. It is marketed as a non-ferrous metal and plastic blade, but it does fine on wood as well. For the price, it can't be beat. Keep in mind, its also a think kerf blade, so if that is what you are looking for, go for it.

This is an excellent blade for aluminum and plastics. It produces exceptionally smooth cuts in extruded and bar stock, and chip and heat free cuts in 1/2 inch Lucite. An excellent value.

Used to cut a number of aluminum tubes, cuts with minimum effort. Holds up to weekly use on extrusions, why pay more?

Clean Cuts Oct 30, 2007
Using a sliding miter saw, I cut an aluminum extrusion with a rolled up door screen inside. This blade cut cleanly through the assembly.
