10.8 driver Feb 23, 2010 The driver was a good addition to the assembly line due to the light weight design.

great for light duty power tool Feb 12, 2010 I own the complete micro 10.8 volt line they are great tools for light duty jobs that they were design for. The small size and ergonomics makes it great for light duty work in electrical, HVAC, Cabinetry trades and are grate for home use as well. But they should not be compared against the power and torque that your normal 12v, 14v and 18v cordless power tools will provide.

OK for small projects.......not powerful enough Jan 31, 2010 This item is definitely good at removing screws in tight confined places. It lacks the power I thought it had. My son bought a rigid brand the same size for a little more $$$$ but it is way more powerful. Light when you engage the trigger is great.
I will use this one for working on cars and such. The lithium battery should be long lasting in between charges. Really have not had to recharge it yet. Very light when having to reach. This would be a great tool for women for projects around the house.......due to the weight. Guys who do lots of drilling and heavier construction use.........get the Rigid brand.
SMALL ENOUGH FOR RETIRED FEMALE AGE 63 Oct 16, 2009 Great little drill. I just received it so have only used it about 3 or 4 times but so far its been great, as the battery continued to be charged after a long period of time. The case is compact and sturdy. The bits that come with it will come in handy with the light home jobs I will be using this drill for.

Very pleased with purchase Sep 15, 2009 I recieved this drill almost a year ago as a birthday gift from my girlfriend and absolutely love it. At first I did have my reservations because of my experience with other 10v tools, and didn't think I would use it since I already had a 18v set. Boy was I wrong. It is the perfect sized tool to have readily available for odd jobs around the house. I use to dread building Ikea, and other furniture my girlfriend would buy but now with this gem, I burn through them no problem. I now look foward to her bringing home a box that says "assembly required." Since it is so much smaller and lighter than my 18v driver, I find that I chose it first as the 18v is just a little overkill for the smaller jobs. I packs just enough punch to get most of the odd ball jobs around the house done. I install car stereos as a hobby and this has proven to be killer in this department too. Since it is smaller I find it easier to use in those tighter spots. I built two Ikea dressers, put up curtains, put up four sets of blinds, hung pictures, hung a couple wall sconces as well as other wall decor, built a crib, built 8 side chairs, and still had juice left in the battery. I'm sorry to read in other reviews that some have run into problems with the batteries. I haven't had any problems so far and always get a good amount of use before they die out. Yes, I will admit that this drill does have limitations but if you're needing that great "odd job" drill, this is a great pick.
