 Fein multimaster. May 24, 2010
My wife bought this tool for me from a television ad. I was doubtful about anything from tv but gave it a try. This is absolutely the most valuable tool in my collection as far as usefulness! From tile to laminate floors, repair of a 70 year old door in an historic home that would have otherwise had to have been replaced. Well worth the price tag, but the cost of replacement blades is just not realistic. This tool will probably last for years and be passed down, but please do something about the cost of the blades.

This blade shattered as I was installing it the first time. I replaced it, at about three times what it's worth, and found that it dulled quickly when cutting wood.

dangerous - broke before i even used it Oct 01, 2009
this blade just broke while i was putting it into the tool, and i was being very careful.
obviously, i wouldnt recommend cutting anything with a blade that brittle.
pretty dangerous.

Replacement for the one I broke. Happens whenever I borrow the neighbor's tools. I rate it low based on price alone as it costs as much as a comparable tool with blades from Dremel.

 Fein multimaster blade for cutting hardwood May 21, 2009
Item is a special circular hardwood cutting blade for the Fein Multimaster tool. It works "OK" but really only useful for small custom cutting jobs. Blade is brittle and will snap if bent while in operation. Even at half price ($38) its very very expensive for what you get.
