You get what you paid for!!! Aug 08, 2010 For under $9 for 3 of these, is a steel!!!! I've used Quality ones before, and these are far from it. On the other hand, but the little use I need of them here at home, they worked just fine so far!!! I'm not going to loose much sleep if one of these fail, after all it was less then $9, that's about $3 each!!! It's really AMAZING the cheap stuff coming out of China these days. How you can make a tool like this and it only retails at under $3 each yet everyone is making money down the line, is unbelievable. The Cost to make it must be like 25 cents each or something. Something I was just thinking about. If you need one of these tools to do a whole lot of cutting, a Professional in a field, Ducting work or others fields, I wouldn't get these cheap things. For a home user, every once in a blue moon, Why spend a bunch of money on something you hardly use. Get these their cheap, and they do work. For how long, I just don't know.
Good value! Jul 15, 2010 Bought these as a gold box deal, and they've saved my bacon around the house twice now. I used to be wary of taking on projects where cutting metal was a must. Now there is no problem.
Great for my DIY purposes.
good value Jun 20, 2010 I have seen these in many places from major tool distributors to big box stores. For my limited needs trimming metal they should be fine, and well worth the $10.00 set price I paid. I bought them from Amazon as it has great return and service. For a homeowner or light installatio represents good value. Tool has a much higher price point feel amd look. Three and a half stars would be more accurate.

You get what you pay for! Jun 07, 2010 I have given these a five star review based on their price. For the money, you would be hard pressed to find a better set to get the job done. If you are looking for the best, these are not it. One set of Klein snips will run you as much as a few of these sets will, and if your are using them constantly....I recommend going to a tool of that caliber. For light use(most of us), these will suffice and can't be beat on price.

Great Buy May 27, 2010 I got all three of these tin snips for $9.99 during a lighting deal. They are very durable and good tools overall. Don't cut yourself!
